Biography

I've been in a few different bands ranging many different musical genres. Right now, I am really interested in the potential of a bluegrass band (like Alison Krauss and Union Station) because I feel it would really suit my voice. However, I am not narrow minded and really just want to be involved in something beautiful.

I'm very dedicated to getting something established. I love to perform, record and am willing to work. Hoping to find other musicians with the same goals in mind.

Biography

I come from NY where I've had a lot of success over the past 30 years-I've owned and operated DRESSER RECORDS (since 1986) I've toured in many bands. I am also curator for HELMET THEATER, (an AVANT-GARDE' independent theater group since 1984) and, also run NY STUDIO 157 (an indi film group since 1998)

Musical Influences are THE KINKS--VELVET UNDERGROUND/LOU REED- ZAPPA-BOWIE-FRIPP-LYDIA LUNCH-SKATALITES-TELEVISION- THE RAMONES- PJ HARVEY-THE CRAMPS-SNAKEFINGER-KRAFTWERK- NY DOLLS- LAURIE ANDERSON-WALL OF VOO DOO-ROMEO VOID-ENO-THE SPECIALS, just to name a few (the list is way too long)

I've worked with Lydia Lunch, Kevin Ayers (Soft Machine) David Allen (Gong) Tony Gross (Head East, Capt. Beyond) Syl Sylvain (NY Dolls) Rob Zombie (White Zombie) Dave Ripton (Locomotion Poetry) and, a ton of NY musicians & Artists. I do original music and occasional covers but, my own distorted & demented versions.

I'm looking for a female/male Bass Player, Drummer & Keyboardist/Rhythm Guitarist to learn songs for up coming band and CD project. I'm looking for serious yet fun musicians to make some music with.
